Date: May 15
Format: 2-hour team challenge + leaderboard
Co-sponsored by: TCAT + Sound Transit
Impact: AccessMap.app FIFA edition + indoor entryway/pathway datasets (Seattle & Tacoma)

Help visitors and residents navigate fan sites with confidence by improving accessibility data using AVIV ScoutRoute.

What we’re doing

We’ll complete targeted “quests” in and around FIFA fan sites and zones to improve what people can see before they travel: step-free entrances, curb ramps, crossings, and other access details that matter for nondrivers and people with mobility needs.

Why it matters

  • Nondrivers need reliable sidewalk data to travel independently—especially during major events.
  • Visitors deserve inclusion when accessing fan events and registered businesses across the region.
  • This data stays useful after FIFA through AccessMap and city indoor access datasets.
How you’ll participate
  • Join a team and open AVIV ScoutRoute quests for the event area.
  • Collect and validate access info at real locations.
  • See your progress live on the leaderboard. Winners are visible immediately.
