To project a vision for harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve America's great ambitions, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy is hosting a conference on AI Aspirations on June 13, 2024.
This event will feature a panel specifically on AI in Transportation: Mapping, Visualizing, and Building the Future. This panel will include Dr. Anat Caspi, founding director of the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology. TCAT's pioneering work on AI and transportation, particularly in building the Transportation Data Equity Initiative, will speak to the panels focus of developing a national transportation infrastructure observatory and accompanying application ecosystem. This panel will connect various innovators in transportation, seeking to align end users, researchers, entrepreneurs, and federal agencies on this topic while addressing privacy, cybersecurity, and policy challenges with this concept and ensuring they are being considered from the start.
