Dr. Anat Caspi represented the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology at the 63rd International Making Cities Livable Conference, held July 6–10, 2026 in Riga and Jelgava, Latvia.

The 2026 conference brought together city leaders, researchers, practitioners, academics, and nonprofit leaders around the theme “Regenerative Architecture and Urbanism: Recovery and Resilience After an Age of Disruption.”

Dr. Caspi shared TCAT’s work related to accessible mobility and the role of pedestrian data and technology in supporting more inclusive, resilient, and livable communities.

The conference began with activities and study tours in Riga before continuing in Jelgava, where the main conference programming took place at Jelgava Palace.
